Melting Pot headed to Little Rock with Denver restaurateur

the-melting-pot-logoThis in chain fondue restaurant news: The Melting Pot, a national chain of fondue-centered restaurants, is planning its first Arkansas location.

In a news release, the corporation announced that a franchise agreement has been signed with Denver restaurant owner Allen Hurst, who plans to open a Melting Pot in Little Rock by early 2016. Hurst and his family plan to relocate to the Little Rock area “where he aims to develop additional restaurants in Arkansas and neighboring states over the next five years,” the release said.

No lease has been signed locally, so no word yet on a location. We’ll keep you posted.
