After a few construction delays, it sounds like The Southern Gourmasian is finally close to an opening in its new home at 219 W. Capitol Ave. Co-owner Justin Patterson says that doors should be open by Feb. 6, if not before. Keep an eye on the Southern Gourmasian Facebook page for an announcement.
In the meantime, Patterson was nice enough to share an example of what we can expect the dinner menu to look like once they start service. The menu may change.
We’re thrilled to see some of our old food truck favorites listed (mainly those short rib steamed buns) along with some new entree and starter options. The thought of lobster kimchi fritters, curried cauliflower soup and a wasabi black eyed pea burger have us counting down the days.
